With the help of the popsicle stick, pierce the apple. Do this with all the apples and then set aside.

In a saucepan add 2 cups of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. Mix everything very well.

Now add red dye to taste. I used liquid food coloring, but you can also use powdered food coloring. Keep adding the dye, until you reach the desired color. Mix well and bring to a boil over medium heat.

To know the ideal point of the syrup, pour the syrup into a bowl of water and if it makes a shattering glass noise, it's done.

Now, pass the apples in the syrup, but be very careful that they do not burn. Then place the apples in a greased baking dish so they don't stick together.
